Character Name: Real Name: General Guy. Alias: High General of Sealand Alan Smithee

Omegafriends Background: Shy Guys are a nomadic species looking for a home. Three of the High Command took three on a journey between universes. Admiral Guy, President Guy, and General Guy. General Guy was the one to lead Shy Guys to the Mushroom Kingdom and it's world, leading to their diversification and proliferation on the world. However the attempt to make a proper, permanent home in the Mushroom Kingdom by taking over Toad Town was squashed by the local hero, Mario. Still, the temporary alliance with Bowser did grant some long term boons. General Guy has managed to replicate the Toy Tank, improving the armor on the lighting bulb and turning it into a fearsome battle vehicle. Bill Blasters soon made their way as a regular part of the Shy Arsenal and Magic Guys were trained, but never deployed during the conflict. Though their alliance lasted longer than that, King Bowser borrowing an awful lot of his soldiers at many points over the course of Bowser's life. He tolerated it for the bonuses gained from allowing them different training.
Eventually the maligned nature of the Shy Guys and general incompetence of his allies (Totally never his fault.) infuriated General Guy enough to leave their current home. He gathered all the sub species and types of Shy Guys, retraining those that needed it to work as a cohesive unit and sought out a new place to be. Their travel lead them across a traveling group of magicians they housed for some time, and in return, gained enchantments to the masks for the best of their members, General Guy Included. But that was never an ending sight. Eventually the sight for their new home was chosen: Earth. An already present industrial base far more familiar to General Guy from his home than the very agrarian Mushroom Kingdom, plenty of open land, and a people with a form close enough to a Shy Guy to adapt to most machinery readily. Just a bit taller, but that's what teamwork is for.
General Guy has chosen a particularly quiet rock off the coast of Venture City as his home, intending to make the city the first conquest in his attempts to eke out a permanent home for his people.
Personality: Canon wise his personality was never fully fleshed out, but I'll keep the basics. He is very overconfident and supportive of his men, as well as quick to resort to being childish if things don't go his way. Despite being quite devious himself when he gets the chance, he will and say that others are 'cheating' as to be. He is quite bombastic in his voice, lacking an indoor voice at nearly all times. Though the fact that the normal method of delivering orders for him is shouting may have something to do with that. He tends to be somewhat formal though to opponents if he considers them good sports, referring to them as Sir or Ma'am. He will also use full titles whenever given them rather than nicknames. Do not call him a nickname. Ever. That's his berserk button.
While General Guy likes his troops abilities a lot and is good at training shy guys to do formations and operate in stacks and squads, he's not very good at managing their time or talents. He rarely has regular patrols in his base, often gives breaks just because he's in a good mood, and treats his men lavishly for soldiers. He often acquiesces to Chef Guy's demands for food and Shy Guys merely running about the local supermarket is an often sight. Where General Guy gets his huge stash of wealth is anyones guess (Though if Mushroom Kingdom coin stash was pure gold, there might be a reason...)
General Guy often focuses on bizarre and absurd in military tactics. He disdains guns, but loves lightning launchers, magic, Fire ignited shy guys, hammers, and other absurd methods of attack. That said, he has a very large love for large and expensive toys. His Toy Tank may look silly, but he loaded it to the gills with stuff. He's also used the more advanced technology of the planet Earth to try to whip up new toys. Like using other villains wrecked robots to try to make Mecha-Guys. He's not above stealing to get what he wants if he can't buy it. If only there was an Engineer Guy...
General Guy is generally oblivious to what capes are. Given that he's spent the longest time in a world where a man who can jump high and hit heavy with a hammer is the greatest hero, in a world with thrashing fire tentacle plants, world destroying spirits, invading armies that can move through time, a giant fire breathing dinosaur, among other things, he often would see the greatest threat to be the smallest. So what you can fly and have bullets bounce off. That guy can JUMP REALLY HIGH! But seriously, he doesn't really understand the concept of a superhero or cape as a local would.
General Guy's childish side mostly comes through with his capricious nature in choosing how to handle things, sometimes his personality hard to pin down due to this. Sometimes he seems quite formal and military, and other he's cowardly and whining. But he tends to try to maintain a strong front normally and tends to only reveal his more childish sides when extremely pleased or worried.
Powers: General Guy is a Shy Guy with a big hat and the absolute loyalty of his followers. He also wears a magic mask which can make him appear and have the size of a human. While the mask doesn't actually come off, to outside observers he appears to have a normal human face. At least unless they have resistance to magical or psychic effects to a decent degree. Captain Shy Guy, Sergeant Guy, Chef Guy, and Major Guy all have similar masks and may show up to some degree. All the Guys who can transform gain clothes similar to what would expect a human in that position to have, so General Guy gains some extra resplendence to his uniform and a duller color.
All shy guys from the Mario universe have a chance of showing up unless they were directly from the effects of things General Guy couldn't replicate. So Fawfulized Guys will not appear. http://www.mariowiki.com/Shy_Guy
In addition to those, there are Magic Guys, who use wands similar to those of the Magikoopas and can cast similar spells, like shrink, growth, and swirly, painful shapes if they hit. He is also training new guys, hoping to integrate such things as Engineer Guys and Tank Guys in the future.
Almost forgot: His Toy Tank. His Toy tank can move at high speeds for a ramming attack or shoot out a powerful lighting bolt from the bulb on the back. The Toy Tank's appearance is mostly to do with General Guy's ego, rather than practicality. The Toy Tank also has a direct link to call in reinforcements as needed, so General Guy might look alone but he'll never be alone. It also is equipped with Thermal Sights, so it can operate in pitch blackness just fine. General Guy rarely goes far from his tank when not participating in some masquerade.

Notes: Shy Guys can speak, but will rarely do so unless they need to. Special Guys, like General Guy, Chef Guy, and such will speak up a bit more often.
